Senior Project Manager

Seth Penland brings over 19 years of deep-rooted experience in the grading and underground utility industry to the F.M. Kitchens team. His career began in the family business, working for his grandfather’s grading company throughout high school and college. This early start provided him with invaluable, hands-on experience as an equipment operator and crew foreman, where he contributed to the construction of golf courses and subdivisions throughout North and South Carolina.

Since Joining the Team

A graduate of Berry College with a B.S. in Animal Science, Seth eventually transitioned into project management for general contractors in the Greater Atlanta area. Since joining F.M. Kitchens Construction in 2018, he has applied his diverse background in both the field and the front office to deliver high-quality results for our clients.

In his role as Senior Project Manager, Seth is responsible for:

Material Logistics: Sourcing and ordering critical supplies to keep jobs on track.
Operational Coordination: Managing crews, subcontractors, and site schedules.
Technical Oversight: Leading surveying and site layout efforts.

Seth’s unique perspective—having managed both the machinery in the dirt and the logistics in the office—ensures that every project he touches is managed with technical precision and operational efficiency.
